Kingdom Locksmith Limited ("Kingdom", "we", "us") is the data controller for this website. This policy explains what data we collect, who we share it with and why, including our use of CallTrackingMetrics for call routing, attribution and recording, and ClickCease for fraud protection on our adverts.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form or call our number, we collect your name, phone number, email (optional) and the location and nature of the job. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and complete the work. If you arrive from an online ad, we may also capture campaign data, such as a Google click ID (GCLID), so we can see which campaign led to your enquiry.

Telephone call routing, attribution and recording (CallTrackingMetrics)

We use CallTrackingMetrics (CTM), a call-tracking and telephony provider, as our processor to display a phone number tied to how you found us, route your call to the right team and operate our call service. Kingdom treats this as necessary to run the phone service, so it runs on every visit and is not conditional on your cookie choice.

When you call a Kingdom number, CTM captures the caller number, the number dialled, the time of the call and, where applicable, the recording and its disposition (how the call was handled). Where campaign data such as a GCLID was present when the number was shown to you, CTM links the call to it for attribution.

In the browser, CTM sets a cookie named __ctmid and stores related source and expiry entries in local storage. Based on what we have observed, these are set to last around 30 days from your visit. This reflects our current operating position for running the call service. It is not a claim that every identifier CTM sets has received its own separate legal approval.

Anonymous arrival counting (Corem8)

Before marketing consent is available, Corem8 records one arrival when the page loads so a genuine landing is not reported as zero. This minimum record uses a random reference that the browser holds only in the page’s memory; Corem8 stores it as that arrival row’s session reference. It does not create a persistent Corem8 visitor identity. We do not add the page URL, referrer, campaign identifiers, contact details, IP address or browser user agent to that Corem8 arrival record. This is Kingdom’s operating requirement for a basic landing count, not a claim that full Corem8 analytics is exempt from consent.

If marketing is already allowed, Corem8 records the visit directly with full attribution. If you allow marketing after the minimum arrival was recorded, that row is upgraded into the same visit rather than counted a second time. Corem8 may then connect campaign, form and click activity for attribution.

Call recording

Calls to Kingdom Locksmith numbers are recorded, for training, quality and dispute-resolution purposes. This recording notice is separate from the cookie consent you give on this website: it applies to the phone call itself, whether or not you have accepted cookies.

Fraud protection on our adverts (ClickCease)

We use ClickCease, a click-fraud detection provider, as our processor to check clicks on our adverts for signs of abuse, such as bots or repeated fraudulent clicks, so that our advertising and the campaign data it produces stay reliable. Kingdom runs this on every visit, including for visitors who reject cookies or have not yet made a choice, because fraudulent clicks need to be caught before any consent decision exists, not after. This is our current operating position for protecting our advertising, not a claim that it has received its own separate legal approval.

We have not independently verified the exact cookie names or storage duration ClickCease sets in your browser. ClickCease acts as our processor for this purpose; details of what it stores are set out in ClickCease's own provider documentation.

How we use enquiry data

Enquiry data is sent to our internal job-management system (Corem8) and to our office email so we can respond, dispatch an engineer, complete the work and follow up under warranty.

Sharing with locksmith service partners

Kingdom Locksmith works with a network of third-party locksmith partner companies that fulfil jobs in some of our coverage areas. When a job is allocated to a partner, we share the details required to complete it, your name, phone number, address or postcode, the nature of the work and any access notes, with that partner only. Partners are contractually bound to use this information solely to deliver the booked work and to handle it under UK GDPR. We do not sell or rent your personal data and we do not share it for marketing purposes. The lawful basis for this sharing is performance of a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).

Other processors

We use a small number of processors to run the site and deliver jobs: Corem8 (lead and job management, the minimum anonymous arrival count described above, and, once you allow marketing cookies, full session and campaign attribution), Resend (transactional email), Google (analytics and advertising, once you allow the relevant cookies), CallTrackingMetrics (call routing, attribution and recording, always active as explained above) and ClickCease (click-fraud protection on our adverts, always active as explained above). Each is bound by their own data-protection terms with us.

Cookies & tracking

We use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads for analytics and advertising. Full Corem8 session/campaign/form/click attribution also starts only after you accept marketing. Corem8’s minimum anonymous arrival count, CallTrackingMetrics and ClickCease run before a choice for the limited purposes described above. See our cookie policy for the full list.

Retention

We keep enquiry and job data for as long as needed to complete the work, meet our accounting and legal obligations, and handle any warranty claim, then delete or anonymise it. CTM's own identifiers follow the storage duration we have observed for them (around 30 days, as above). We have not verified ClickCease's own retention duration; see its provider documentation for that detail.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email support@kingdomlocksmith.co.uk to make a request.
